Man Arrested in August Bridgehampton Burglary
Central Islip 26-year-old charged with felony.
Southampton Town police announced Thursday that an arrest was made Oct. 27 in connection to a burglary that took place over the summer in Bridgehampton.
A Bridgehampton resident reported the burglary on Aug. 16. According to police, sometime between 7:30 and 11 p.m. that day, two laptops and a 52-inch flatscreen television were stolen. The burglar entered through a rear window, police said.
The incident report stated that police found tracks to a trail leading to the beach and an awaiting vehicle.

Police said that after several months of investigation, detectives arrested Danny Martinez, 26, of Central Islip, for burglary in the second degree, a felony.
