Sag Harbor Police Log: DWI on Main Street

The following information was supplied by the Sag Harbor Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

arrest for the week of Dec. 12 through Dec. 19:

DWI

• John J. Cano, a 45-year-old East Hampton man, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. on Sunday morning and charged with driving while intoxicated. Police stopped Cano after observing him cross the double yellow lines several times while driving southbound on Main Street, police said. He was held at Sag Harbor police headquarters and arraigned in later that morning.
