Cops: Woman Who Died on County Road 39 Last Month was Driving Aggressively

27East reports Carissa Castillo was using her cellphone, but was not texting or talking.

The woman who was killed when her car crossed Country Road 39, hitting a Hampton Jitney last month, was distracted by her cellphone, 27East reports. 

Carissa Castillo, a 29-year-old mother of two from Shirley, "was using her cellphone for functions other than texting or calling" when she crashed on July 25 at about 7 a.m., according to the report. 

Southampton Town Police Detective Sgt. Lisa Costa said Castillo was driving aggressively.
