Town Police Log: Woman Charged with Endangering Child After Swiping Food from King Kullen

The 35-year-old grabbed items with a child in the shopping cart, according to Southampton Town police.

Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Petty Larceny

• A Southampton woman was charged with petty larceny and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, on Jan. 28 after police said she attempted to steal items from King Kullen in Bridgehampton.

Police said Julian Balderas, 35, was spotted with a young child placing numerous items in a shopping cart and bagging them, then heading to the check-out counter where she only paid for a few of the items she pulled from the shelves.
