Cops Say They Caught 2 With Weed in Southampton Village
One of the men was charged with misdemeanor possession.
The following information was supplied by the Southampton Village Police Department on Oct. 29. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
• Two Bridgehampton men were arrested on marijuana possession charges in Southampton Village on Oct. 23. The 21-year-old was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, at approximately 10:40 p.m. The 26-year-old was charged only with the unlawful possession charge. No further information was available.
• A 25-year-old Shirley man was arrested for allegedly violating a court order in Southampton Village on Oct. 24. He was arrested at about 8 a.m. on a charge of criminal contempt in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
