Cops: Man Drove Drunk Without a License Into a Parked Car

Sag Harbor Village police charged a 47-year-old with drunken driving on Aug. 23.

The following information was supplied by the Sag Harbor Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

• Alfonso Bonete, 47, of Sag Harbor, was arrested on drunken driving charges after an accident on Main Street in Sag Harbor Village. Police said Bonette was driving without a license when he hit a parked car on Aug. 23 at about 1:40 a.m. He appeared intoxicated, and refused to submit to a breath test. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and DWI, both misdemeanors, operating a motor vehicle without a license, a violation, speeding, and refusing a pre-screen test, also violations. H was held for arraignment.
