report that on Saturday at approximately 1:59 a.m., multiple calls were received regarding a vehicle overturned near the traffic circle on Flanders Road in Riverside.
Police said that Bridgehampton resident Brian Jenkins, 45, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound on Flanders Road when he crossed the center line, went off the left side of the roadway, hit the curb and rolled over.
Jenkins was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Police say he also had an outstanding warrant related to a previous charge of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.
He was arrested and transported to Southampton Town police headquarters in Hampton Bays, where he was held for morning arraignment.
