Cops Allegedly Find Cocaine, Marijuana in Car Parked in Bridgehampton Lot

Large bag of marijuana in plain view; Cocaine found during arrest, according to police.

A 21-year-old man was caught with a large quantity of cocaine and marijuana Saturday in Bridgehampton, Southampton Town police said.

Marco Amay-Espana, who lives in East Hampton, was arrested after police saw him sitting in his car with two others in the parking lot behind Bobby Van's restaurant on Montauk Highway at about 12:09 a.m., according to police.

An officer approached the car and saw a large bag of marijuana in plain sight, police said. They later found cocaine in his possession.

Amay-Espana was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a felony, and criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor.
