Bridgehampton FD Hosts Blood Drive
Donors invited to give blood between 2 and 8 p.m. at the Bridgehampton firehouse.
The Bridgehampton Fire Department's May blood drive collected 62 units of blood, far exceeding the target set by Long Island Blood Service of 40 units.
The department is hoping to blow away expectations again with its drive Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the on School Street.
On top of the satisfaction of saving lives, New York Blood Center is offering a free all-weather jacket to donors who make an automated red cell, or Alyx, donation. Visit nybloodcenter.org for information on receiving a jacket or 500 bonus advantage points.
