Bellport Man Arrested for Driving With a Suspended License and Possession of Crack Cocaine

Southampton Town Police have charged a Bellport resident for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor and other unspecified traffic infractions.

On Sunday June 1, 2014 at about 3:26 am on CR51 in Northampton, Gilbert A. Henderson, 36, was arrested for a traffic infraction according to a statement from the Southampton Town Police.

Subsequently Gilbert was found to be driving with a suspended license, possession of a crack pipe and crack cocaine. He was arrested at the scene, transported to police headquarters for processing, and held for morning arraignment.
