Town Police Log: DWI Charge After Man Runs Stop Sign

• Jonathan Zarin, 29, of Manhattan, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, on Sept. 1 at 12:08 a.m. after he was stopped on Ocean Road in Bridgehampton. Police said Zarin failed to stop for a stop sign at the corner of Sagaponack Road and also failed to maintain his lane of traffic. Field sobriety tests revealed a blood alcohol level of .14, according to the arrest report.

Driving While Ability Impaired

• A 48-year-old Manhattan woman was under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs when she crashed in Bridgehampton on Saturday afternoon, according to police. Southampton Town police said they were called to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Hayground Road at 2:25 p.m. Saturday involving . Falcone was charged with driving while ability impaired by the combined influence of alcohol and drugs. Police said no injuries occurred during the accident. Falcone was arraigned in Southampton Town Justice Court and released on her own recognizance.
