Updated: Area Firefighters Respond to Barn Fire; Contain It

The fire was reported at the Fairview Farm in Water Mill.

Bridgehampton firefighters have contained a commercial barn fire at the Fairview Farm, 19 Horsemill Lane in Water Mill.

The firefighters were called to the scene Tuesday morning around 9:20 a.m. but were able to knock it down by 10:00 a.m.

The Southampton Fire Marshall's Office is investigating the cause.
