The Rev. Dr. Katrina Foster, the pastor of in Water Mill and in Amagansett, explains the origins of some Christmas traditions, such as why it is celebrated on Dec. 25, and why Christians put up evergreen trees in their homes, in this episode of "The Hamptons Lutheran Parish," filmed at public access television station 's studio in Wainscott.
