Late Tuesday night the Shinnecock Nation Cultural Center and Museum property was vandalized. The vandals broke into a storage shed, stole some paint and sprayed the nearby fence leading into the recently-opened living history village with racial slurs and gang-related tags. State police were on the scene early today, and the investigation is still ongoing.
