Thomas Goleski of Southampton Dies at 87

"T-Bone" was a World War II veteran.

Thomas John "T-Bone" Goleski, of Southampton, died Jan. 8. at his winter home in Stuart, Fla.

Born Nov. 25. 1925, he was 87.

Son of Josephine and Eugene Goleski, he was born and raised in Southampton, and graduated from Southampton High School.

Goleski served in the Army Air Corps 100th Bomb Group during World War II.

He was an active member of the Southampton Fire Department for 34 years, and a member of the Southampton Horticulture Society and American Polish Political Association, among many other volunteer organizations.

In Southampton, he attended Our Lady of Poland Roman Catholic Church. While in Florida, he went to church at St. Martin de Porres in Jensen Beach.

Goleski is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie Goleski; his three children, Thomas Goleski, Kimberly Rosko and husband Bill, and Gary Goleski and wife Karin; and his loving grandchildren, Billy Rosko and wife Rebekah, Colleen Rosko, Holly and Jamie Goleski, and Eric and Emily Goleski.

A memorial and Southampton Firematic service were held on Friday at O'Connell Funeral Home in Southampton Village, and a funeral took place at Our Lady of Poland, also in Southampton, on Saturday.
