Southampton Town Police Pay Last Respects to Fallen Officer
The late Frederick "Woody" Cantrell's brothers in blue showed up in force at the funeral Wednesday morning.
There was a standing room only crowd at in Southampton Village Wednesday morning as town officials, police officers, family and friends said goodbye to , a 24-year member of the who died Friday night at the age of 50 after he fell unconscious in his Noyac home and could not be resuscitated. Members of several East End police agencies were represented, as well as the New York State Police and Suffolk County Sheriff's office.
