John Corwith White, the head of the Sagaponack farming family and a longtime member of the Bridgehampton Fire Department, died Tuesday at the age of 91.
A visitation is planned at Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton Village on May 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. with a fire department service at 7:30 p.m.
A memorial service is scheduled June 1 at 11 a.m. at Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church.
A private cremation service has taken place, according to the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family said donations to the Memorial Fund of the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church or East End Hospice would be appreciated.
