It is my belief that there is a certain honor in trying and losing and there is no honor in not trying.
Thank you to all of my supporters for voting for me for Southampton Town Supervisor! I also greatly appreciate your kind words of encouragement and expression of thanks for my past public service as Supervisor and Councilwoman.
Thank you also for your good wishes for my family! I could not have accomplished all that I have for the people of Southampton Town without the love and support of my husband Lance and my sons Jeff, Zack, and Connor. It is not easy to work in a politically-charged environment with all the controversy that is stirred-up and important issues to be addressed. But with courage and perseverance, I have put forth best efforts on behalf of the great Town of Southampton.
I want to applaud all the candidates for their stamina and courage to run for public office because it is not easy to put yourself out there and to endure the intensity of the schedule and all the political drama that comes with running a campaign. So, thank you to all for stepping up and offering your candidacy and a choice to the voters for this year's election.
It has been an honor and privilege to offer my candidacy once again and may those who have been elected to serve in local government do so with honesty, integrity, and strength of character.
