New York: First In The U.S. To Label GMO Foods?

We New Yorkers have a rare opportunity to be the first of the U.S. to pass a law mandating the labeling of GMO (genetically modified organisms) foods sold in our state! But, we must accomplish this by June 2013, before the end of our legislative session, to support the passage of these NY State Bills.  

Are you a New Yorker who is of the 90% of Americans who want the right to know what’s in the food we buy? 80% of the foods on our grocers’ shelves are genetic engineered, yet none of these require labeling by law.
