IT'S TIME TO TAKE ACTION, EATERS!

Fellow GMO Labeling Supporters and New Yorkers,

Only 4 more weeks to go....to pass a NY State GMO Labeling Bill by June 20, 2013!

Meanwhile, next door...on the evening of May 21, 2013, after about 2 hours of debate, the Connecticut State Senate voted 35-1 in favor of CT State GMO Labeling bill, S 802, which now goes to the CT Assembly for vote.

So, this week, New York Eaters, we need you to contact the membership of our own New York State Assembly's Committee on Consumer Affairs and Protection -- the gatekeepers of bill A3525 -- NY's bill for GMO Labeling. If they don't soon push it out of the committee the bill will die without ever making it to the Assembly floor for a vote. So it is REALLY important that we PUSH THEM NOW to let them know we deserve the right to know what's in our food!

This is our chance to make our voices heard! All the contact info you need to reach them is below, beneath the photos. Whether you write or call, remember to say the bill number -- A3525 -- to whomever you speak and to ask for a reply. If the Assemblymember is already a co-sponsor of the bill, CALL THEM ANYWAY TO THANK THEM! They need to know how appreciative we are of their support and efforts to help get GMO labeling legislation passed.
