When thinking of the word "Mother," feelings of love, comfort, kindness and compassion come to mind for the special things given to me that nobody can give to me nor replace in my heart.
The word "Mom" is a symbol, that not even as a man,I think I would not be able to imitate or become. "Mom" is a special woman that above all, we all hold to dear to our heart and enduring to our memories,no matter whose mom it is.
This Mother's Day, or even the days preceding and after it, take the time out to say "I Love You" to your mother wherever she is. Call her, go see her, send her a hand written letter, or card like you used to in grade school (lol!). The strength and power of that affection, is without measure, the bond that helps makes us who we are today as a person ... kind, caring and compassionate.
Now, imagine "Mother's Day" every day. Whether it is a simple "hello" via telephone, or just the acknowledgment of looking at her picture on your wall. Imagine the peace and tranquility it would bring to your life when remembering the qualities you so adored. Even if she is not with us anymore, or far away, there is an inspiration that is uplifting to make the day just a better place all around.
So,with this being said, I follow my advice by example to say "I Love You Mom" to Joyce Hensley-Jones. Wherever you are, I want you to know just how much you have made a difference in my life, and how much I love you. There can never be,nor ever will be anyone who can quite take your place.
And to all the other "Moms" out there...know this...you are special person in your own right. There will never be another mom like you; well maybe except "your mom"...
And that's "The Last Bite"...
