First is the Worst, Second is the Best

So the next time you go on a date that you think could have gone better, know that it will! All you have to do is follow five simple words: GIVE HIM A SECOND CHANCE.

LISTEN UP LADIES! I’m going to say this once and only once: If I hear about another woman giving up on a man after the first date I am going to absolutely flip.

Tell me, how can you possibly know everything there is to know about someone after spending only two hours with them? There is only ONE person who has that ability and it is ME. So ladies do these men, YOU, and me a favor and stop! Stop guessing that because he doesn’t like to watch the Food Network as much as you do, that you’re not compatible. Stop predicting that the second date will be as mediocre as the first was. He was nervous, give him a break! And stop worrying that you couldn’t find out all of his secrets within the first 10 minutes of meeting him. All of these thoughts are not only irrational, they in NO WAY help you to find love.

Think of it this way: You are anxious as you prepare for a first date, correct? Well NEWS FLASH, men are just as unsure as you are. They’re wondering if they picked the right place, the right clothes, the right day, etc. Don’t be selfish, and start thinking about the other person’s worries. Trust me; once you grasp the fact that men are equally as shaky about going out with women as women are with men, they are like putty in your hands.

And let’s not forget the number one reason women prematurely reject a guy — ATTRACTION! Yes, you may not be attracted to a man at first, but who knows maybe he will grow on you. Think about it like this: If he wasn’t wearing that shirt, or those pants, or maybe shaved a little, you would actually come to find him attractive. Looks aren’t everything ladies, they may be for men who are visual and shallow, but we look deeper.
