The cheapest house that can be found for sale in Southampton Village may not be all that "cheap" by most people's definition.
The single-family ranch, in the village's Hillcrest neighborhood, is listed for $224,990.
Located at 184 Hillcrest Avenue, the home has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and was built in 1991, according to AOL Real Estate. It is on a 4,791-square-foot lot — about a 10th of an acre.
According to Trulia.com, after coming on to the market in October 2012 for $269,990, the price was cut by $45,000 in January. Trulia states that, according to tax records, the home is assessed at $304,000.
It is unclear when the listing photo was taken and if it is current. The listing states that the home has a new roof and new siding.
