What Are the Most Romantic Spots in the Hamptons?

We'd like to get a discussion going on the romantic places you'd take your special someone on Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and you've already bought the chocolates, hit the jewelry store, and the flowers are ordered and ready to be delivered — but where will you and that special someone spend the evening?

Gifts are well received on Valentine's Day, but the focus should be on spending time with the person you love. Where would you take your significant other for a romantic evening?

To start off the conversation, here are a few ideas:

1. The Montauk lighthouse where East Hampton Supervisor Bill Wilkinson proposed to his wife.

2. which has an amazing view at sunset.

3. , a beautiful setting overlooking the water.

Let us know in the comments where you think the most romantic spots are locally.

The Tavern at the 1770 House ... nice to cozy up on the cushioned seats, near a fire, in the low-lighted pub. Something comforting and sweet about the whole setup ...

"Tim" uploaded a photo of some place that looks pretty romantic. But we have no idea where it is!

I'd tell you all the best spots, but then my wife and I couldn't enjoy them alone ;)
