Suffolk Girl Scouts Ready Annual Holiday Light Show

Driving tour of festive light displays kicks off on Dec. 2.

The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their holiday light show with the biggest and brightest lights yet.

The popular light show, which brings in hundreds of cars each night, kicks off on Dec. 2 and runs through the month, featuring thousands of lights and hand-made displays along a 1 mile, woodland trail at the scout’s Camp Edey on Lakeview Avenue off Montauk Highway in Bayport.

This year, the newest light attraction is a lit-up New York City skyline, joining other festive attractions including replicas of two light tunnels, the George Washington Bridge, a lighthouse and a castle.

The show also features an indoor holiday village, donning a hall of trees that were decorated by scouts, as well snacks, shopping and photos with Santa. A schedule for the holiday village can be found here.

The holiday light show will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. through Dec. 30, but is closed on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. Tickets are $12 per car Monday through Thursday and $15 per car on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
