Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum Kicks-Off Fundraising Campaign

The Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum has announced that it is kicking-off a fundraising campaign, aimed at raising money for the museum and a refurbishment project that started in September.

This year's fundraising campaign, the museum said, will not only help raise money, but also provides opportunities for those looking to donate to buy a holiday gift.

The following is a round-up of fundraising events at the museum:

Auction Benefit
This event will take place on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the The Peter Marcelle Gallery, 2411 Main Street, Bridgehampton. Auction items include gift certificates at The American Hotel, Cuddy, Sen, Il Capuccino's, a Christmas tree, Bay Street Theatre tickets, works of art and many, many other items. $10 admission. Tickets are available at the door.

Win a Fiat
Tickets are on sale now to win 2013 Fiat 500c. A maximum of 350 tickets will be sold with a drawing taking place on Dec. 23. Click here to buy a ticket.

Book Store Pop-Up
Bookhampton will be setting up shop on the museum's front lawn on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Dec.8 and daily from Dec. 15 through Dec. 23.

Capital Campaign
The museum is still accepting donations towards its project to refurbish its 186-year-old building. To donate, click here.
