Peconic Sustainability Institute Scoping Meeting

New York State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. and
State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle are looking for public input on the Peconic Sustainability Institute at a meeting at the Duke Lecture Hall-Chancellors Hall on the Stony Brook
Southampton Campus.

"It is envisioned that the Peconic Sustainability Institute would sponsor research, educational programs, and policy discussion in an effort to encourage a more sustainable future for the Peconic Bay Region," according to a press release from Thiele.
