Massapequa, NY, April 8,
2014 - Studio 5404 Art Space will host an opening reception for the art show
“Age of Innocence” on Sunday, April 27, 2014, 1:00 – 5:00 pm.  The show,
which runs through May 31, 2014, will feature new works by emerging and up-and-coming
local and New York artists including Barbara Rachko, Vernon McAuley,
Michael Cardacino, Joyce Kubat, Visakh Menon, Maria Spector, Amy Swartele and
Lori Horowitz.

According to Studio 5404
Director Lori Horowitz, “The Age of Innocence” is an installation of
thought-provoking artwork in various medium that reflects on guilt vs.
innocence, while touching on religion, idol worship and virtue.”





During the opening reception, music will be performed by original songwriter
and guitarist Nick Russell, and refreshments will be served. 
Suggested donation $10.00; proceeds will go toward raising awareness and
strengthening the arts in the community by creating a thriving cultural arts
center.

Studio 5404 is an Art Space established in June 2013 and sponsored by
Environ Vision Designs owner and director Lori Horowitz.  A pending
not-for-profit organization, Studio 5404 provides under-represented and
emerging artists with the opportunity to show, learn and share their art with
the public.  The mission of the gallery is to enrich the South Shore
communities of Nassau and Suffolk Counties of Long Island, NY, by promoting
cultural arts in all forms that include painting, sculpture, music, film,
poetry and performing art.  The gallery’s goal is to create a thriving
artists’ space to share and explore artistic expression, ideas and
creativity.  Lectures, educational seminars, showcases and round tables will
be offered to the community.



 



Environ Vision Designs was established in 1989 by owner and director Lori
Horowitz, an artist and professional designer, member of United Scenic
Artists Union, and a founding member of the Long Island Professional Sculptors
and Supporters (L.I.P.S.S.).  The company is a complete design and
fabrication service specializing in fine art, custom indoor/outdoor sculptures,
paintings, architectural elements, display, scenery, models and restorations.
