Open House @ Shinnecock Museum
Come celebrate local Native American history and culture
with FREE admission to Long Island's only Native American owned and operated
Museum and newly opened live, outdoor exhibit, the Wikun Village. At 2 p.m.
take a FREE guided tour with a member of the Shinnecock Nation. Experience
10,000 years of native traditions first hand. Talk with knowledgeable Native
staff as they interpret daily life in a 17th/18th century Shinnecock Indian
Village. Other highlights of the day include a visit to the Museum gift shop
and tour of "Walk with the People" the permanent exhibit.
