LIVE@SOUTHAMPTON CENTER presents ANIMATION'S FIRST MASTER: WINDSOR McCAY

Academy Award-winning animator and historian John Canemaker brings Windsor McCay's life and work back into the spotlight in an entertaining, interactive multimedia show that includes four of McCay's surviving films: Little Nemo (1911); How a Mosquito Operates (1912); Gertie the Dinosaur (1914); and The Sinking of the Lusitania (1918).  The first of these three were originally featured in McCay's popular vaudeville act, which Canemaker recreates onstage with the help of the audience.  Fun for all ages!
