THE LAST HOMBRES & HooDoo LOUNGERS at THE PLEASURE LOUNGE
-no,you won't find it listed any where..not on your phones or in the phone
book!..it is a 19th century barn converted into a working JOOK JOINT
complete with pool table and ancient one armed bandits. for the past 15+
years owner/musician JOE LAURO has hosted many a great night of
music...from WANDA JACKSON, THE LOST BAYOU RAMBLERS, R. CRUMB & THE
CHEAP SUIT SERENADES and the unstoppable LONE SHARKS..the "Lounge" has
been quiet as of late so this will be a special night. The late drummer/vocalist LEVON HELM ("The Band")
adopted the LAST HOMBRES a few years back and recorded a few albums with
them..this will be their first show with new drummer TOM RYAN...The
HooDoo Loungers are the only east coast brand bringing authentic New
Orleans music to the Northern Masses!..both groups have new CD's coming
out!..Admission is $15 at the door...bring your own libations and be nice! 631 466-2668 if you MUST call!
