Roots Music Film Series

Come peek into Historic Films’ archive of rare roots music films, from early bluegrass to worksongs and the blues. In this three-month series, Joe Lauro of Historic Films and Bennett Konesni of Sylvester Manor are collaborating to choose some of the most remarkable roots music from Historic Films’ 45,000 hours of 1895-2010 stock footage. Come watch and hear greats like Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs and Woody Guthrie in original footage unique to the Heritage Films collection.
