This week we cover Sweeteners - most of which are GMO now! How do these work in our bodies?

Series started with screening of, Genetic Roulette, The Gamble of Our Lives, new documentary film exploring the health and environmental dangers of genetically modified foods (GMO's). Discussion following screening.

Each week we learn and discuss our food, why we need to know about and label GMO's, and protect our food supply, by understanding the serious health risks these unlabeled, untested foods (found on @ 80% of our grocery shelves), pose to our families, and community.

Join Kathleen Furey, certified GMO (“genetically modified organisms”) Educator in this four-part series on GMOs and the heavy use of artificial sweeteners in our food supply, and learn what we can do to eat as healthfully as possible.
