GABRIELA MISTRAL: THE HEART OF A WOMAN

This bilingual program celebrates the legacy of Gabriela Mistral, Latin America's first woman to win a Nobel Prize. The evening includes a 10 minute film and presentation by Gloria Garafulich-Grabois, the Director of the Gabriela Mistral Foundation in New York City; Kathy Engel, poet and Visiting Arts Professor at New York University, and Maria Sandoval Burns, a local poet and a columnist for VOZ Latina.
