Prison Terminal: The Last Days of Private Jack Hall (2013)
A moving documentary that breaks through the walls of one of
America's oldest maximum security prisons to tell the story of the final
months in the life of a terminally ill prisoner, Jack Hall, and the
hospice volunteers, they themselves prisoners, who care for him.
Voices of Sarafina! (1988)
A documentary film made with members of the young South African cast
and based on the 1987 Lincoln Center Theater/Broadway musical
"Sarafina!" The musical play retold the story of what is now known as
the Soweto Uprising, June 16 1976, a series of protests led by high
school students in the streets of Soweto.
