The Water Mill Museum on Old Mill Road will officially close for the season after the weekend and the "Bowls of Plenty" benefit luncheon.
The luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, sponsored by the Clay Art Guild of the Hamptons.
Bowls, handmade by the potters of the Clay Art Guild, are $20 each. Homemade soups, bread, drinks and dessert will be served.
Proceeds will support the museum's efforts.
The Water Mill Museum showcases the hamlet's namesake water-powered grist mill, which has been preserved since 1644. There is also a wetland garden, and the museum hosts several annual events and exhibitions, such as a members show and quilt show.
The museum will re-open in May 2013.
