Tim Bishop Joins Media Mavens Friday on 88.3

U.S. Rep. Tim Bishop is dropping by the WPPB 88.3 FM studio in Southampton Village Friday morning to be a guest on The Eclectic Cafe with Bonnie Grice, along with local journalists.

Each Friday, from 9:06 to 10 a.m., host Bonnie Grice brings in area reporters and editors, dubbed the Media Mavens, for conversations on local happenings. This Friday, April 5, will be a special edition, with Bishop on hand to offer his insights into federal issues and how they affect East End residents.

Bishop is a Southampton Village native and was the provost of Southampton College. He is in his sixth term in Congress.

The Media Mavens in the studio this Friday will be Dawn Watson, the arts editor of The Press News Group, which publishes The Southampton Press and The East Hampton Press, and Brendan J. O'Reilly, the editor of Southampton Patch.

Those who are out of range of WPPB 88.3 FM can tune in on peconicpublicbroadcasting.org. The show will rebroadcast Saturday at 8:06 a.m.
