Motorists asked to move parked vehicles off main roads.

With the brunt of Winter Storm Nemo expected to hit Southampton this evening, Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley has issued an executive order declaring a state of emergency Friday effective 6 p.m.

The village notes that the nor'easter is expected to include blizzard conditions, heavy snowfall, frozen roadways and wind gusts reaching 60 miles per hour.
