Southampton Man, Son of Sex Researcher, Pleads Guilty to Public Lewdless

William H. Masters III was arrested in Central Park back in May.

A 60-year-old Southampton resident who was caught exposing himself and masturbating in New York City's Central Park pleaded guilty to public lewdness on Monday, The Huffington Post reports.

The man, William H. Masters III, is the son of the late William H. Masters, half of the sex research team Masters and Johnson, which authored the 1966 best-seller "Human Sexual Response."

According to court documents, Masters was released on a conditional discharge for one year.

According to MailOnline, he also has charges pending related to allegedly exposing himself to undercover investigators on kayaks who passed by his riverside home in Michigan in September.
