Some Village Roads Still a Mess Day After Snow

Southampton Village downtown and North Sea Road in need of more plowing.

Some main thoroughfares in Southampton Village are still partially covered in snow and slush a day after a substantial winter storm that lasted Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon dropped about a foot of snow.

The eastbound lane of Hill Street is nothing but slush and ice, and cars are instead driving over the bike line. Jobs Lane and Main Street are similiarly in need to attention, as is North Sea Road, to the ire of motorists.

Scuttle Hole Road in Bridgehampton, a town of Southampton road, was passable but still covered in white Thursday afternoon.
