See Mayor Epley's Cameo on 'Royal Pains'

Upon exiting a crashed where they just treated the accident victims, Dr. Hank Lawson, Evan Lawson and physician assistant Divya Katdare are greeted with applause from pedestrians at Southampton Village's Monument Square — and among them is village Mayor Mark Epley.

The "Royal Pains" scene was filmed in April and broadcast Wednesday night during the season premiere.

Epley said in April that the village's deputy clerk, Eileen Musarra, jokingly asks every production that seeks a village film permit if they want the mayor to be in a scene. This was the first time a television show took her up on the offer of a cameo.

"The mayor of Southampton!" Evan Lawson, portrayed by Paulo Costanzo, shouts during the scene as he spots Epley. "I've always wanted to meet you, sir." They shake hands and he forces a stack of business cards on Epley. Follow this link to watch the clip.
