The Long Island Power Authority reports that 571 customers are without electricity in North Sea and Noyac and power isn’t expected to be restored until 11:30 p.m.
Across Long Island, mostly on the western half, there are 116 active outages and 9,316 customers affected, according to LIPA
As a severe lighting storm moves east, more outages are likely.
