March 10: Southampton Village Board Meets, 'Publick Readers' Hold Book Discussion

The sun will rise at 6:10 a.m. today and set at 5:51 p.m.

1. The Southampton Village Board will convene at 6 p.m. at village hall for a public meeting. The agenda includes a public hearing on a proposed law concerning public urination and presentations on the Hampton Road firehouse, the Southampton Garden Club and the future plans for the Parrish Art Museum facility.

2. The Southampton Youth Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the lower level meeting room of .

3. The BookHampton “Publick Readers” will meet at at 5:30 p.m. for light fare and discussion of "Women Who've Rocked the World." This week, the Publick Readers, led by Amy Katz, discuss “Seaworthy” by Linda Greenlaw, a radical fisherwoman and environmentalist.

4. Come back at 10 a.m. for the “Get Out” guide, a planner with all the local events you’ll want to be at this weekend.
