Louise Johnson of Southampton Dies at 66

Yonkers native was an x-ray technician at Southampton Hospital.

Louise Joan Johnson died at her Southampton home on Saturday at age 66.

Johnson was born in raised in Yonkers and trained as an x-ray technician at Portchester Hospital.

She married Clifford J. Johnson, with whom she moved to Southampton. He  retired from the Southampton Village Police Department and she worked at Southampton Hospital until her retirement in 2000.

In addition to her husband of 37 years, Johnson is survived by two sons, Gregory and Mark Johnson, both of Southampton, and a brother, William Fitzpatrick of Seaside, Oregon.

Memorial visitation will take place Feb. 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton Village, with a religious service beginning at 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cancer Center at Stony Brook University Hospital, or East End Hospice, would be appreciated by the family.
