Last Chance to Get Your Tax Returns In
The two extra days to get your returns submitted are quickly coming to a close.
Since April 15 fell on a Sunday this year, there are two more days to finish filing 2011 taxes.

Federal and New York State Income Tax Returns or extensions must be filed by April 17 at 11:59 p.m. to avoid penalties if you owe the government money.
For those of who still file taxes by mail, the United States Post Office locations in , , and will be open until 5 p.m. Tuesday, and the Sagaponack Post Office will close at 4 p.m. An estimated 80 percent of those filing taxes do so electronically.
