Is This Really February?

If you awoke with amnesia today in Southampton, no one could blame you if you thought it must be April or May.

The thermometer read 61 degrees on Main Street Thursday afternoon and the village downtown was active, with parking spots full and numerous shoppers walking in and out of stores, a scene expected in the spring, but typically harder to find in February. Schools are out this week, and it appears more like spring break than winter vacation.
