Historic Home Returns to Sag Harbor

A 1740s residence that was deconstructed in Southampton Village in 2006 and put into storage will be put back together in Sag Harbor, The Sag Harbor Express reports.

Since 2006, when Robert and Michelle Strada saved it from demolition and had it deconstructed instead, a circa-1740s Colonial-style home has been in storage in Amagansett, but now the house will return to the second village it ever stood in, Sag Harbor, The Sag Harbor Express reports.

The house, which was originally in Connecticut before being moved to Sag Harbor the first time, will be put back together on John Street in Sag Harbor on a piece of property owned by Joe Pintauro and Greg Therriault, according to The Express' report.
