Hamptons Employment Agency Honored for Sandy Relief Efforts

Firm filled a 22-foot-long truck with donations it collected in aftermath of superstorm.

Hamptons Employment Agency received recognition this week for a collection drive the domestic staffing firm held in the days after Superstorm Sandy struck Long Island.

The Salvation Army presented Aleksandra Kisielewicz's Hamptons Employment Agency with its Appreciation Award, for the truckload of goods the Southampton-based firm gathered and the Salvation Army distributed.

The collection drive was held in front of the agency's Hampton Road office over a weekend, taking in donations of clothes, food, household supplies, toys, and more. According to the agency, the items stuffed a 22-foot Salvation Army box truck.

“Whether we are supporting our own team members, the individuals we place, our clients, or others in The Hamptons, we are continuously on the lookout for ways to give back, because we care about our community,” Kisielewicz said. “We are proud to have received The Salvation Army’s Appreciation Award, because it reflects our company’s values. The people of the Hamptons were extremely generous in their support for those affected by Hurricane Sandy, as were the volunteers who worked tirelessly during our weekend collection drive. The Salvation Army’s Appreciation Award really belongs to these two groups."
