Flooding, Traffic Delays Expected in Water Mill
Montauk Highway is vulnerable to flooding, according to the NYSDOT.
The New York State Department of Transportation is warning that Montauk Highway in Water Mill may flood as the area receives 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rainfall through Friday night.
Traffic may be delayed due to lane closures, and during pump-outs, according to the DOT.
Drainage gates and drains have been cleaned out in flood-prone areas in advance of the storm, the DOT stated.
