The 113th Congress has an unprecedented number of female members, 81, and U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney, of New York, held a reception at her Washington, D.C., home Sunday to celebrate that fact.
Among the attendees was Dottie Herman, the president and CEO of Douglas Elliman and a part-time Southampton resident. Other attendees included Speaker of the New York City Council Christine Quinn and Lilly Ledbetter, the namesake of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.
